Elmafioso90 Hello, Im interested in buying a Japanese booster box of The Rarity Collection, but I see I have two different choices with different prices too, Int. Box and Japan Only Box or something along those lines. Ive seen this in a few of the latest OCG Japanese products and I wanted to know whats the difference between these two if any.

The Japan Version is Sold only in Japan. Int Version is sold around asia. Both are japanese . Rarity are now the same for both. Both are now made in Japan but Japan Version is QC in Japan. Int or asia version is QC in Asia. Some say japan version has better qc which stands for quality control. If you are not serious about the QC i recommend int version but if you want the highest quality Japan version maybe your better bet  2015-02-08 22:48:54 		Reference

Its been some time since I ordered OCG cards and didnt know about this. I understand Japanese are better because they get better QC, but do they still have that glossy texture old OCG cards had compared to TCG cards? I mean, if both Asian and Japanese boxes have the same glossy finish or thats something only for Japaneses.

jakarade Old Japanese Cards are more glossy compared to newer ones. Im not sure if they cut the cost or consider this better quality. But i do say that japanese qc is possible better than asian qc  2015-02-10 07:45:51 Reference
