Collect There are 4 different types of collectors. Read all of them and decide which type of person you are.
1. Deck Collectors
You collect cards by deck. This means, Maximum cards you need is
40 Main cards in a deck
15 Cards for extra deck
-Only buy cards you need in a deck to play
-You do not waste money on buying unused cards
-When bored of your deck, you sell the deck (or keep it) and buy another one.
2. Set Collector
Each time a set comes out, you collect only one card each in each set. This way, you have at least one of all the different cards in different sets.
-You will have 1 card for every set you collect. This looks very neat when presented in a folder.
-You will not have enough cards to make a competitive deck since some cards you will need 2 or 3 cards. Hence, this is the type that cannot be played competitively and it's solely just for people who love collecting or are unable to play due to technical reasons.
3. Full Set Collector
This is when you collect three cards of every specific set that you like. For example, if you like six samurai, you buy three cards of each of the six samurai cards thats ever released. Therefore, if you want to modify your six samurai deck, it will be quite easy since you have all the cards of six samurais you have.
4. Full Collector
For this type, you try to collect three each of every card in every set. This takes the most time.
-Looks very neat in a folder when you display three cards of each type in every set.
-Gives you all the options to play every deck that's released. This is suitable for people who can afford a lot of money and gets bored of different deck quickly. They do not need to waste time buying another card each time, since they already have everything they need.
So ask yourself what kind of a collector you are so you know exactly what you are doing. 2011-03-28 12:47:09
